Product Description

The all-new 7S Slipstream is a one-board quiver that will adapt to a range of conditions from mushy beach breaks to surfing down the line point waves. This board is a true hybrid, both from a design perspective and by definition of its performance.

OUTLINE: Front half resembles a modern fish and is great for generating speed and acceleration when driving off your front foot. The back half resembles a traditional shortboard with a refined outline and a forgiving round tail for smooth, yet controlled rail transitions.

CONTOURS: Subtle single-to-double concave with vee out through the tail delivers a balance of speed and flow over flatter sections, and responsiveness in hollow waves.

ROCKER: Low-to-moderate rocker is designed to offer immediate acceleration from the take off, and still allow the board to fit into more critical parts of the wave.

FOIL: Refined foil and the performance rail profile complete the design package by adding a very sensitive and responsive feel on the wave.

FINS: The Slipstream comes with an FCSII Reactor M thruster set.

Regarded as the most user-friendly hybrid model on the market, the 7S Slipstream not only makes performance surfing easy, but it will give your wave riding a whole new perspective.

Carbon Vector

Carbon Vector (CV) construction delivers unmatched performance by harnessing the flex characteristics of epoxy and the strength of carbon. CV combines a stringerless, high-density custom shaped EPS core laminated with biaxial fiberglass, epoxy resin and a distinctive carbon fiber webbing, (positioned on the bottom and around the rails).

The carbon fiber webbing serves to evenly distribute tension across the entire surface area of the board to produce a lively, yet controlled flex pattern with remarkable memory recall. The biaxial fiberglass on the deck serves to add strength and also help prevent delaminating. CV boards feel fast, light and highly responsive in all conditions.

Created by GSI to compliment a range of board models and designs, this construction has proven to have superior flex properties over our other board technologies by up to 20%.

Love it. Have used it 4x and found it really fast. Great to duck dive. I am 84kg. The wide nose makes it very easy to get up on also.

This board rides great, a lot of volume but doesn’t feel like it. Super light and lively, loose, and fast. Board rides just as advertised by Richie lovett

Very fast and easy board, love the feel of the CV.
Surfed this board in various conditions from weak onshore as well as nice clean and hollow waves and I am impressed by the enormous speed the board creates.
Nice and fast with very good grip with the standard fins and even faster and much looser as a quad set up which I prefer for this board

  4. 5 out of 5

The board is super easy to paddle and really takes off upon impact. It’s fleet under feet and responds quickly when changing direction. The FCS II Reactors are a good complement to the board in this regard. In addition, what’s even more impressive is the board’s resiliency. I’ve taken it out on several long sessions and still don’t have any compression dents. Well done, 7S and GSI!
